My Story

My story starts in Seattle, Washington, which is where I grew up and where I find myself again at the present, teaching, creating, and writing. I’ve had the great fortune of learning from the talented and knowledgeable professors at the University of Washington, where I graduated in 2025. On occasion, I teach art, but mostly I teach kids. Equally, the kids teach me.

Lately, I’ve been working in ceramics, dabbling in printmaking, and sketching (for my sanity). I make functional things for people who enjoy owning useful and interesting objects.

I’m inspired by beautiful music, literary and artistic innovators, the sights/sounds of nature, and everyone I’ve ever met.
